About the Frankfurt Conservation Center

The FCC is the knowledge center for integrated nature conservation and sustainable development in the EU. It brings together expertise from science, practice and society under the objective to contribute to biodiversity preservation, climate protection and socio-ecological development. 

Vision

FCC envisions a future where biodiversity and nature thrive and where sustainable practices are the foundation of human wellbeing. 

In this vision, research, education and practice come together to create a holistic approach to reverse biodiversity loss and to foster harmony between people and nature. 

Mission

The FCC is a driving force behind innovative approaches and strategies for preserving the planet as a sustainable socio-ecological system. FCC works collaborative and integrative, convening scientific and practical expertise on nature conservation.

We tackle the loss of biodiversity in the context of climate change and human development to nourish a healthy balance between humans and nature for generations to come.

We build a center for the future

and create an integrative place for creativity, knowledge exchange and public engagement.
